Daily Schedules (subject to revisions)

The children’s daily schedule is flexible enough to provide adaptability when necessary but structured enough to provide predictability for the children. We want to view their school as a safe and comforting place, where they know what to expect and when to expect it. Below are typical days for each of our groups:

YEARLINGS – Toddler I(18 months – 30 months)

BUCKS – Toddler III(48 months – 4 1/2 years)

06:30 – 08:30 Breakfast/Morning Snack, free choice, restroom, independent reading
08:30 – 09:00 Transition to class room
09:00 – 10:00 Center time, art project
10:00 – 10:40 Split into groups for teacher directed academic activity
10:40 – 11:00 Gross motor activity (inside/outside)
11:00 – 11:30 Music or story time, lunch prep (restroom, hand washing)
11:30 – 12:00 Lunch and clean up
12:00 – 12:30 Gross motor activity (inside/outside)
12:30 – 01:00 Quiet time and nap prep
01:00 – 02:45 Nap or quiet time, children not napping are reading, quiet games
02:45 – 03:00 Waking up, snack prep, restroom, hand washing
03:00 – 03:15 Snack
03:15 – 04:00 Free choice time
04:00 – 04:30 Puzzles, art center
04:30 – 05:00 Stories, quiet library time
05:00 – 05:15 Clean up
